He entered the following information: Groom's name and age-Bride's name and age-Date of marriage-Volume and page of marriage record. Almost 40,000 marriage records were entered.

Not only were the Probate Court Record books abstracted, but also the four  Marriage License books which have survived and one volume of Ministers Licenses.
